BRENT AGIN M.D.
Chief Operating Officer
Brent Agin, M.D. is the founder and CEO of Trim® Nutrition. Early in his career he co-authored Healthy Aging for Dummies (Wiley Publishing 2008) and Superfoods for Dummies (Wiley Publishing May 2009) while he was establishing himself as a respected wellness physician within the medical community. His commitment to excellence and genuine compassion for his patients is reflected throughout his medical practice in Clearwater Florida. After receiving both his undergraduate and his medical degree at Michigan State University he completed his internship and residency at the University of South Florida in 2002. Dr. Agin excelled as a Division-1 scholar-athlete at Michigan State University and was named Academic All Big-Ten Team while playing soccer for MSU. As a health and wellness visionary, Dr. Agin has been interviewed on numerous radio shows, featured in various magazines and is a regular speaker for nutritional seminars and workshops.
With a resilient passion for sports and nutrition, he developed a tireless commitment to the research and development of products that promote a healthier way of living. This passion naturally evolved into the inception of Trim® Nutrition where he developed a superior line of both oral and Injectable nutrient supplements. His proprietary blends have been utilized in support of diagnostic weight loss, disease prevention and treatment, drug detox, anti-aging, and sports performance enhancement.
Under Dr. Agin’s guidance, Trim® Nutrition was selected as #706 of the Inc 5000 fastest growing privately held companies and #55 of top 100 health companies in 2012. Trim® Nutrition has also recently expanded product development to target retail markets. Trim® has established itself as a premium brand with customer loyalty and an extensive network across the country and abroad. With the health and wellness industry expected to show impressive growth over the next 5-10 years, Dr. Agin will continue to expand Trim® into both the retail and medical health markets. Dr. Agin co-created the multifunctional Carb Revolution™ Program to act as a dietary guide for those looking to maximize energy, lose weight, improve performance, or aid in the treatment and prevention of several diseases. Carb Revolution uses intermittent fasting, low-level ketosis, carb cycling and exercise to provide a sustainable lifestyle approach to eating and exercise.
James Brown
Chief Executive Officer
James served our country for seven years in the United States Coast Guard, where he was heavily involved in drug interdiction and search and rescue throughout the Bahama’s and Central America. James also worked for the United Parcel Service, which was a catalyst to him co-founding a new company, Freedom Sales in 1999.
James’s military and parcel service background was an integral in the development of Freedom’s Quality Directive and Logistical foundation. Freedom Sales is an industry leader in Global Electronics Distribution and in 2020 Freedom was listed in the Top 5 of its industry.
His passion for health and wellness along with tremendous success using Trim® Nutrition’s products and philosophies led James to offer his experiences and passion to grow Trim® Nutrition and help others with their wellness journeys.
JAMIE TRIPP MSN, ARNP-C
Trim® Medical Board & Co-Creator of Carb Revolution™
Jamie joined the Trim® Nutrition medical board in 2011 where she brings a distinctive female perspective to the wellness team. She is an American Academy of Nurse Practitioner board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in nursing from the University of South Florida in 2007 and 2010.
While pursuing her Master’s degree, Jamie worked full time as a RN and nursing educator on a progressive cardiology unit at a local hospital. Once certified as an ARNP, Jamie immediately started working at an integrative medical practice in Clearwater, FL to follow her interest in healthy living. There she helps her patients understand the importance of preventative medicine and the integral role proper nutrition, diet and exercise has on one’s wellbeing. She quickly took on the roll of office director and became an expert in several areas of age management medicine.
Jamie practices what she teaches her patients and leads by example. She is a mother of two and understands the importance of a balanced family life as well as healthy lifestyle. She is the co-creator and devoted follower of the popular and effective Carb Revolution™ program. Her daily must have Trim Supplements are: Superburn™, Chocolate Protein Powder, Trim B6 B12 Boost, and Trim Night Cutter.
MARK HASHIM M.D.
Trim® Board Member
Dr. Hashim received his BA in Chemistry from Swarthmore College then completed Medical School at The University of Pittsburgh graduating with honors. He completed a surgery internship and anesthesia residency at The Medical College of Virginia. He is a Board Certified M.D. and earned his board status from The American Board of Medical Specialists in Anesthesiology in 1995. He has specialized in Interventional Pain Management since 1993.
Dr. Hashim was born and raised in Maryland and has a long history of physical fitness accomplishments. He lettered in cross-country and track and field in high school and completed his first full marathon at age 16. He continued to compete in cross-country in college and continued to compete in marathons. Once in medical school, he continued to increase his training and started competing in triathlons.
It wasn’t until after medical school that he developed an interest in power lifting and bodybuilding. He quickly became competitive in the sport and once held the Virginia
State deadlift record for the 148-weight class at 460 lbs. At age 47 he competed in his first body building competition at the Northern Kentucky NPC bodybuilding competition taking first place in the lightweight novice class. He followed this win with 2-second place finishes at the NPC Mid-Florida Classic and the Tim Gardner Extravaganza later that year.
Through out his life he has been heavily involved in nutrition and fitness. Now, in his mid fifties he still maintains a body fat percentage less than 10% year round by applying sound nutrition and weight training techniques. He is dedicated to maintaining a healthy lifestyle and is a great addition to the Trim® Nutrition Medical Board.
Mark Blake
Chief Legal Officer
In particular, for the past 10 years, Mark has served as general counsel of an advertising and software business in the pharmaceutical field. He has also worked with H. Wayne Huizenga and Steve Berrard as vice president and general counsel for Swisher Hygiene through their acquisition and early growth of the company into one of the leading providers of cleaning and sanitizing solutions to commercial enterprises across North America and around the world. In this capacity, he leveraged his extensive knowledge of corporate governance and related matters to ensure the company operated with full compliance and maintained its obligations to stakeholders, suppliers, regulators and relevant agencies.
He is also the founder and chief executive officer of Polypill of America, a pioneering compounded solution to critical medication adherence issues for cardiovascular patients. In this role, he has earned specialized expertise in the operational and legal framework required of compounding pharmacies and sales teams, an essential understanding that translates directly to the work we do at Vicrin as well.
Mark is a member of the American Bar Association's Health Law, Litigation and Business Law sections. He earned his Master of Laws degree from the University of Miami School of Law, his law degree from Nova Southeastern University School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Florida. He is admitted to the Florida Bar, Texas Bar, United States District Court for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida, United States Circuit Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and the United States Tax Court.
John Suto
Chief Financial Officer
John received his BA in Finance from Pace University New York in 1982. While John’s career began in Public Accounting, he quickly found a desire and passion to be closer to business operations and has held various Finance Management positions at a Bag Converting Plant, Pulp and Paper Mill, both in Corporate Headquarters and in Distribution.
In August 2016, John joined Wellness Health Management, the parent company of TeleWellnessMD®, as a Finance consultant and by the end of the year was brought on full-time as CFO. He brings 25 + years of Finance Leadership experience in the Manufacturing and Distribution fields primarily with International Paper. A previous member of the International Paper Netherlands B.V. Board of Directors, John has vast knowledge in Finance and Accounting best practices and policies, both domestically and globally. As Director of Finance Sales Service & International Operations at IP, John helped managed comprehensive financial strategies in support of a $6 billion Sales Organization.
His experience goes beyond the typical Finance person as John has managed warehouse operations, multi-site customer service organizations and business development teams. This diverse experience helps bring a unique perspective to business opportunities, always in support of company growth, customer service and new program development that meet and exceed expectations.
Kathy Stocks
Personal Wellness Advisor
Kathy went to nursing school in South Philadelphia and graduated from Westbrook College in Portland, Maine. She was a charge nurse in the cardiac critical step down unit at Maine Medical Center before moving to Florida in 1991. Kathy continued her nursing career at Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg as well as in Seattle, Washington. She explored home health and Hospice nursing positions before working at the Health Department where she focused on Women’s Health and Wellness.
Kathy has worked alongside with Dr. Agin since 2004, with a focus on age management and disease prevention. She has become an expert in optimizing hormones, nutrient therapy and supplementation as well as health and dietary strategies. Her years of experience and interest in training and education are exemplified in her role as director of clinical support for both our clients and medical providers.
